The Swaying Waves
As I swayed with the waves
So Helplessly,
I watched and waited
As this thing approached me?
I wondered to myself what is that?
What could this thing possibly be?
But as it turns out that thing
Yes it is a jellyfish

Ah, yes, the jellyfish
As it sways throughout the ocean
With no signs of motion
As I explain to myself
There is no real danger
My mind starts to flow away from me
As my mind goes to the jellyfish vaguely
My mind follows him throughout the vast deep ocean
But can you follow him with not a lot of motion?

As the jellyfish approaches this giant structure, looking like a city
He floats and wonders “what could this possibly be?”
There are fish everywhere and in every crevice
“This is yes, a coral reef!”

As he floats on still through this beautiful city so, so helplessly
Something starts to crack and crumble
He looks over at the lively city, but nothing’s happening
What was that sound he wonders and waits?
But, eventually moves on with his day
                                                                He hears it again….
And out of the corner of his eye
He sees something very dangerous and could cause him to die
He sees movement and a mushroom cloud of sand
He is scared he can’t move but he stops and thinks I
                                                                I am just a mere jellyfish….

He continues on with the current
But he hears this sound again not like before though
This sound is LOUDER AND LOUDER!!!
And then everything is black,
He can’t see any more or hear any more or think any more
                                                                There is nothing

My mind has come back now
I was just daydreaming
I am still floating waiting for the perfect wave
But, I decided I should go because there is a problem in that ocean
Because in that beautiful, vast ocean there are real problems

Rather than our unequal commotions
